Building a Race Car Using 3-D Printing

July 19th, 2016 3-5pm
KSU Marietta Campus Engineering Technology Center

3D Printers have been used for everything from building a life-sized, working race car from the ground up to creating low-cost, prosthetic limbs for chidren. Watch the videos below for examples.

Join Carceron and others at the KSU Marietta campus and learn about this wonderful technology. The tour will include a visit to the Formula SAE garage, where students build a race car and you can see parts that were printed in the 3D Printing lab. We will also show you a production assembly robot donated by Yamaha that the students have taught to be a bar tender.

Afterwards, we will adjourn to Johhnie McCrackens on Marietta Square for some complimentary kibbles and drinks, compliments of Carceron.
